Cancer Society of Finland Campaign
Project Summary
The Cancer Society of Finland’s anti-smoking campaign took a bold, visually arresting approach to resonate with youth and spark critical conversations about smoking. This execution featured the striking image of a glamorous mouth filled with cigarette butts, blending beauty and decay to deliver a powerful visual metaphor. The unsettling juxtaposition aimed to challenge the perception of smoking as “cool” by highlighting its destructive reality.
Designed for high visibility, the campaign was strategically placed in urban environments and youth-centric spaces to maximize its impact. With its provocative imagery and thought-provoking concept, the campaign encouraged viewers to reconsider their relationship with smoking and its consequences.

Note: This project was done while I was in another agency. The result is a compounded effort of the talented professionals I had the good fortune to work with at the time. The reason I’m featuring this project, is that I carried the primary responsibility of the creative end result within this project.
